Studying UI/UX design is a good call — it’s one of the hottest tech skills in recent years.

Understand the Basics
Discover what UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) really are.
- UI is the "delightful" part, what you can see (layouts, colors, typography)
- User flow, behavior and usability is what UX is about
Read:

- “Don’t Make Me Think” by Steve Krug
Learn Tools Like Figma
Figma is the one to beat. Start with:
- Creating simple wireframes
- Building interactive prototypes
- Practicing responsive web/mobile layouts
Study Real Projects
Analyze existing apps/websites. Try redesigning them.

Take Free or Paid Courses

- Google UX Design Certificate (Coursera)
- freeCodeCamp (for UX basics)
- Udemy (affordable practical courses)
Get Feedback + Practice
- Post your X to LinkedIn, X or even on Reddit
- Join communities such as Designer Hangout, UX Mastery, or on Discord groups
