- UX Designers (User Experience Designers)
- Easy to use
- Solves the user’s problem
- It allows wine to be poured as easily as beer, and it has become very popular.
- User research (surveys, interviews)
- Developing user personas and user journeys
- Information architecture (structuring content)
- Wireframing (basic page structure)
- Prototyping and user flow design
- Usability testing and iterating through feedback
2. UI Designers (User Interface Designers)
UI-designers, concentration on product1 look and feel. They create the visual aspects that users engage with.
Key tasks of a UI designer:
- Creating buttons, icons, fonts and color palettes
- Developing the design for the desktop, tablet and mobile
- Building design systems
- Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Creating interactive prototypes
Are UI and UX Designers the Same?
Yes! A lot of people (me included as freelancer) work as both UI and UX designers (at least in small teams or freelance projects)
Real-World Example:
When creating a mobile app:
- A UX designer plots how a user will navigate from one page to the next and validates that it solves user needs.
- A UI designer ensures those screens have a modern, user-friendly, on-brand appearance.
